The car was purchased new in San Diego by my mother. She put 60,000 miles on it
from 2004 to 2017. I moved the car to PA in 2017 and we have put approximately
40,000 miles on it since then. The car runs well with no issues; everything works. It was
used by my kids to learn to drive, so it has some scuffs and scratches, as well as some
rust pitting on the front edge of the roof. No significant body damage and has never
been in an accident. The Interior is clean with no significant damage. It is a solid car; I
would not hesitate to take this on a long drive. Most 2004 Prius I see for sale are closer
to 200,000 miles, so there is plenty of life left in this one, and as a California car, there is
very little rust.
- Car gets regular annual service, oil changes, etc..
- Just had it serviced at Ciocca to prepare for sale with inspection, oil change, and
tire rotation.
- New auxiliary battery installed August 2024
- PA State inspection just completed, good until August 2025
